Property Description:
Located in majestic Canadensis, Pennsylvania, nicknamed the Heart of the Pocono Mountains, this 3-story, 110 year old Victorian home offers up to 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms in over 4,000 square feet of Victorian charm. Two of these bedrooms have a private bath with whirlpool jet tub and shower. The oversized, eat-in kitchen has 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers and a wine cooler. The family room has floor to ceiling windows and a stone fireplace (fueled by propane). There is an exercise room and a billiards table available to guests. Running the with of the front of the house is a screened porch that wraps around to the side deck which is perfect for outdoor dining, cocktail parties and relaxing in general. The large side deck overlooks a spacious brick patio which is perfect for outdoor entertaining in the fresh air.
The Pocono Mountains has something for everyone, and Canadensis in particular, is located in the midst of all possible activities such as golfing, skiing, swimming, hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, outlet shopping, fine dining, theatre and antiquing.
Located within 5 minutes is the town of Mountain Home with lovely shops and antique stores.
15 minutes away is Mount Airy Casino, Sky Top Lodge, Camel Back Ski Resort, Camel Beach Water Park, Great Wolf Lodge, Alpine Ski Resort and The Crossings Outlet Shopping.
30 minutes away you will find The Delaware Water Gap, Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resort, Shawnee on the Mountain, Slippery Rock Resort, Lake Wallenpaupak, Promised Land State Park and local wineries.
60 minutes away is the Mountain Laurel Center for the Performing Arts, The Sherman Theatre and the State Theatre in Easton.
