Property Description:
New home in Adirondack town of Hague-on-Lake-George. Perfect four season getaway. Lots of charm and all the comforts you want to feel at home. Beautiful setting, gardens, yard, seasonal stream. Outdoor furniture and firepit.Just half mile from town and Hague beach with boat launch, playground,bath house. Walk into town and follow Hague Brook up to the water falls. Stop at General store, or visit one of the Antique & Gift shops, cafe's & resturants for Brkst, lunch, dinner. Go fishing on pier. A short ride to Gore Mtn(ski or gondola rides, mountain bike), Warrensburg(don't miss garage sale wkend), Schroon&Hudson River(rafting), Fort Ticonderoga, ferry to Vermont. Lots of hicking trails everywhere, biking, snowmobiles, and of course charter fishing. Boat rentals in town. 15 min. from Bolton Landing, 30 min. to village of Lake George tourist attractions & outlet shopping. 50 min. from Saratoga,dining, shopping, SPAC, and track. No matter what season, there is always something going on. Fall foliage is spectacular, winter festivals, polar plunges, chili cookoff (my fav). Fireworks in Hague and Ti (BEST 4th OF THE NORTH). Picnic and camping on the Islands of LG,or just hang at the beach, Hague hosts diferent concerts and events at the beach throughout the year. Spring is magical- the ice melts and the streams swell, the smelt run in the brook is wild- Rafting is great in spring(hudson gorge)Fishing ia a 4 season event. Hague hosts different Bass tounaments, great fun. Boat shows, poker runs, arts & craft shows. Ti country club is open to public for golfing(dining too),Many, many events and places to see. Day trips to the Adirondack Museum, Ausable Chasm, Great Camps tour, brand new this year is the Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course- outdoor rope challenge in the woods-really great fun.After all your adventures come back home to relax in the jacuzzi tub and get cozy by a fire (indoors or out). Just don't forget the smores! |
