Beautifully furnished in comfortable New England style, this house has been completely renovated yet retains a vintage Vermont charm.
Located on lovely Rte 100 in the "postcart perfect" town of Weston, our house has easy year round access. The house is very open and bright; it has lots of windows (all weather tight) and features covered porches on two sides! Our place sits on about an acre. There is lots of room to enjoy the outside, no matter which season.
Inside, we have wide plank hardwood floors throughout, covered with pretty oriental-style rugs. The first floor offers plenty of space in an open floor plan. The kitchen is a cook's delight... It is well equipped and has lots of counter and cabinet space. The adjacent sunny open dining room means that you'll have plenty of company (out of your way) while you whip up a Vermont-style meal or serve your feast gathered from local gourmet shops! The large double living room has plenty of room for a big group to be comfortable. A 1/2 bath with laundry machines completes this floor.
Upstairs you'll find 4 well equipped and private bedrooms plus 2 full modern bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and plenty of good quality linens are included. There is lots of closet space and dressers.
The house is exceptionally well insulated for weather and sound. You will love all the big all-weather windows that let the outdoors inside but not the cold. |
