Property Description:
Earlier this spring we bought a cabin in a very quiet and exclusive nieghborhood called Cedar Flat in Carnelian Bay. Then we decided to remodel and upgrade the place while keeping the "old tahoe" feel. In fact it is now more "old tahoe" than when we started!
It is now available and it is designed to be the most relaxing property we own.
It has a wonderful Great Room with open beamed ceiling. The carpeting that came with the place is in really good shape. The downstairs bathroom got new tile on the walls surrounding the tub and new tile floor, toilet, and sink.
About the house:
First Floor: Large kitchen with new appliences, new dishes, new pots and pans, remodled cabinets with a breakfast bar with 4 stools. New Dining Room Table with at least 6 chairs. The living room will have a nice arrangement of comfortable brand new furniture and a new LCD 34" TV with cable tv.
There's a hallway on the first floor that leads to a closet with washer and dryer, a hallway bathroom with tub and shower combo and shower curtain for ease of entry. There's 2 first floor bedrooms, one with a queen mattress set and another with a pair of twin beds. New doors, new tile, new windows, new sink, new lighting.... OK, we upgraded a lot.
Second Floor: Another bathroom at the top of the stairs plus 2 more bedrooms. One bedroom will have a log bunk bed with twin XL on top and Queen on bottom. The other bedroom will have a queen bed. We are putting a Video Game with a large TV up there so the kids can hang out.
The doors are all new, the lighting is all new, the wood burning fire place has new real stone hearth and sides and new glass doors. There is a new Ipod compadable stereo unit. We replaced most of the windows, we painted all the walls, we replaced all the door hardware. All the lighting is new.
New sheets, new blankets, new matresses....
There is a wood deck that we have re-built. We added a 8 person hot tub and an out door BBQ/kitchen area
