Located in Boomer, about 30 miles from Boone, but well worth it for the seclusion and concierge services!
The main level of the lodge contains a large living area with a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided), big screen satellite TV, and fine leather furniture, a huge gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, top-of-the-line, stainless steel appliances including a Sub-Zero Refrigerator/Freezer and a 6 burner gas range, a breakfast table, a dining area containing a massive dining table that seats 12, a sitting room with full-sized pool table and satellite TV, a full bathroom with ADA approved roll-in shower, a huge furnished deck to enjoy views of the pristine blue Scott Kerr Lake AND surrounding mountains (yes, you are still in the mountains). Include a spacious bedroom with a king bed, satellite TV and private bathroom, and a spacious bedroom with 2 queen beds and satellite TV and you really do not need to leave the first floor. And this was just the first floor?
The upper level contains a spacious bedroom with 2 full-sized beds, satellite TV and private bathroom, a second large bedroom with a queen bed, satellite TV and private bathroom, and the huge master suite with a king bed, a private sitting/reading area, a private laundry area, 2 satellite TVs, a large, private upper deck, and a private bathroom with 2-person Jacuzzi tub, a home all on its own. And this is only the upstairs? This home must be 7,000 square feet? Yes, it is.
