Just outside the front door, you will find hiking trails. A short walk down the road will take you to the "Pemi" River. A few minute drive will take you to Waterville Valley which is a town in itself. Loon, Cannon, Franconia Notch etc are all less then 25 minutes away. Enjoy the wildlife. If you look out the window, you may just see some deer or some rabbits!
