With end of the road privacy, It feels totally secluded and yet is close to all Port Orford has to offer including the Port Beach, Battle Rock Beach, restaurants, shops, galleries and the local theater. Nearby are many recreational opportunities like hiking, fishing, clamming, crabbing, kayaking, surfing, windsurfing and more.
The Castaway Lodge also offers a front row view of the fishing boats being raised and lowered into the ocean from the Pier, one of the only places in the US where this is done.
The Castaway Lodge is the perfect place for a totally relaxing and delightful getaway. With it's extensive grounds and privacy, it also is appropriate for intimate weddings, small reunions, retreats and honeymoons!
