Property Description:
Our clean and lovely furnished one-bedroom with queen bed (new mattress!), one-bath guest apartment with eat-in kitchen and breathtaking views of a pristine ocean cove is ready for another season of happy vacationers. Within 8 minutes of coastal Route 1 and Brunswick, this vacation rental is a perfect spot for day-tripping all over coastal and interior Maine.
If you are looking for reasonably priced yet clean and well-kept oceanside accommodations for your trip to Maine, look no further!
The apartment is modest yet well-appointed, our view is lovely, and the sounds of nature abound in our private neighborhood. The house is situated on 500 feet of tidal ocean waterfront. As I write this I can hear the seagulls and chickadees, and earlier I saw an osprey. There are families of ducks and Canadian geese who frequent our cove and we have several decks overlooking and down by the water for your enjoyment.
We also have a float and canoe for use by our renters. We are on a tidal cove, which means twice a day the water disappears into the nearby Quahog Bay, but if you need to get out on the water or go for a swim during those times you can always go down to the Private Association dock and beach which is a very short walk from our house down a dirt road. The ocean waters off our dock and in the Bay are known to be warmer than most Maine waters so are extra good for swimming in!
We (my husband, myself and our son) are year-round residents and remain in the house during the summer so you won't have to worry about having the other apartment in the house being occupied by hooligans--we'll respect your privacy but at the same time will be there to give you lots of "insider" information if you ask.
The guest apartment is really best suited for two people, or a couple with one single, or a family with one or two children maximum.
