Property Description:
It's time to start thinking of your summer vacation!!! Drive down our private drive to your waterfront cabin on Great Pond (aka Golden Pond). The property has 3 camps on it with 500 feet of private shoreline and 18 acres of privacy. There are 2 camps for rent. One has a queen size bed, a double sleep sofa and a trundle bed (on screen porch) and 1 bathroom. The other has a queen size bed, a queen size sleep sofa, a queen futon (on screen porch) & 2 trundle beds (on screen porch) and 1.5 baths. Both have a full kitchen, gas grilles and a fabulous screened-in porch. Sit by the water on your dock or on your porch and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets, the views of the osprey nest, lake and islands while you're listening to the loons. There are many areas to relax and enjoy the sun or the shade. Pets are welcome as long as you keep an eye on them and pick up after them.
For the golfers, you are close to one of Maine’s best, Belgrade Golf Club - recognized as "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses" by Golf Digest. Put your boat in at the public boat launch, enjoy swimming, windsurfing, waterskiing, tubing, sunning, fishing or just cruise around the 29 miles of shoreline and explore all the lake has to offer. Fishing is plentiful and you can expect to catch Northern Pike, Bass, Salmon, Trout and Perch.
Rent a cabin and relax on the hammock, waterfront, picnic area on the water, lake and sunset views, or just hang out in your private space. During the fall months enjoy the beautiful fall colors and serenity.
Weekly rental from June 30 - September 6 is $850 + 7% Maine State Tax. Rentals from May 31 - June 30 and September 6 – mid October is $700 + 7% Maine State Tax. Inquire about shorter stays.
