Property Description:
Cedars Cottage Resort is a family oriented, housekeeping cottage resort located on the shores of beautiful Lake Eugenia. We offer the accommodations and services you'd expect from a tranquil, lakeside cottage resort, we are at the south entrance to the picturesque Beaver Valley.
You have a choice of either traditional style 2 bedroom cottages, modern 3 bedroom chalets, or a beautiful century farm house. Our smaller cottages will sleep 4, the large two bedroom cottages sleep up to 6 people, all cottages have microwaves. The chalets will accommodate a maximum of 8 people each. The chalets include air-conditioning, microwaves, ceiling fans and a four piece bath that includes a whirlpool tub. The century farm house has been upgraded, has all new furniture, but retains its country charm, it sleeps 12.
Each cottage, chalet and the farm house has its own propane BBQ, deck, deck chairs, fire pit and picnic table. Children love to play on our shallow, sandy beach. Meet at the outdoor swimming pool. We also have a games room with pool table, shuffleboard and table tennis. Complimentary board games for evening entertainment are available from the office. The use of canoes and peddleboats are included. Motor boat rentals available next door. Lake Eugenia is well known for its great bass fishing.
Enjoy our 40 acres for nature walks. Walk through the fields and down to the undisturbed shores at the south end of Lake Eugenia. There you may see deer, beaver, herons, loons and many other types of wildlife. Walk up to the barn and meet our pet alpacas. In the winter bring your own cross country skis or snowshoes and blaze your own trail. Bring your skates, weather permitting we have our own ice rink.
Cedars is close to great hiking trails, golf courses and the backloads are great for cycling. For the skiers we are close to some of Ontario's most popular ski slopes.
