Property Description: Located just outside of the village of Hobart in the rolling farmland of Delaware County, our 1830's farmhouse is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The house, which is available for rent from a weekend up to a maximum of two weeks, is also just a short walk from the Catskill Scenic Trail. We are about a 3 1/2 hr. drive north of New York City.
The house sleeps a maximum of six and has a fully equipped kitchen with both a modern gas stove and a 1926 Glendwood cook stove. There's both a dining room and a cozy kitchen table for your meals. The living room is a comfy spot to watch a movie or listen to music. We consider well-behaved dogs for a small added fee.
The farmhouse is about 45 min. from the ski areas and hiking trails at Windham and Hunter and about 30 min. from Plattekill Ski Area in Roxbury.
It's a great place to just relax or go for a long walk around the farm complex or on the Catskill Scenic Trail. We also have a fire pit on the hill behind the house -- a great place to watch the sun go down!
